The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is set to go back underway for round 5 this weekend, following the cancellation of the Nürburgring event that opened up the summer break for the teams and drivers. PREMA Powerteam will be lining up close to home at Red Bull Ring, a popular destination for junior single-seaters. The team has achieved considerable success at the Styrian venue in the last couple of seasons, and that will provide good motivation for the drivers, entering a crucial stage of the season after a challenging stint so far.

Estonian Paul Aron (17) and Spaniard David Vidales (19) recorded podium finishes this season, with the latter taking a triumphant win in the series opener at Imola. On the other hand, championship rookie Dino Beganovic has been on an improving path all year long, and the 17-year-old Swede is aiming for a breakthrough after taking his maiden rookie win at Spa-Francorchamps.

With a well-known track for most competitors, the accent will be on performance, although a key element might come in the form of precipitation, with variable forecasts expected adding up to the challenge.

Ralf Aron - Team Manager

"We have been doing well at Red Bull Ring in the past, and we will try to put together all the steps we have made during the last couple of races. The competition in this championship is outstanding, but we hope to finally package the potential we have seen at different times with all three cars to get some solid results, and then go on from there."
