With the FIA Formula 2 Championship bracing for the final round of the 2019 season, PREMA Racing is ready to line-up on the challenging Abu Dhabi circuit to end the year in a positive way with drivers Mick Schumacher and Sean Gelael.
Ending a 2-month break, the series will be back at one of its most iconic destinations, the state-of-the-art 5.5-kilometre Yas Marina venue providing a mix of different types of corners and features which require a meticulous and precise approach.
Coming from a double DNF in the previous round at Sochi, Schumacher is definitely in search of a rebound and will be highly motivated to end his rookie season on a high. On the other hand, Gelael is coming from a good performance in the previous round and having captured several points finishes so far in 2019, he sees chances for another consistent performance in the Emirates.
René Rosin - Team Principal
"We are ready for the final race event of the year and we are lining up at Yas Marina aware that we will have a chance to do well with both cars and drivers. In a way, the round at Yas Marina can be revealing of the progress made throughout the season so we are confident and determined in our approach. Let's see what the weekend will bring.”
