The Formula Regional European Championship is set for its final round of the season at Monza. After securing the team championship early, PREMA Powerteam saw Frederik Vesti clinch the driver title with three races to spare at Mugello, and is now aiming to bring home second place with Enzo Fittipaldi. The 17-year-old Dane has dominated the season with 12 wins, while the Brazilian showed great potential too with two wins and a total of 12 podium finishes. British racer Olli Caldwell recently faced some adverse fortunes that impacted the outcome of the previous round. Considering that he also crossed the finish line as the winner twice this year, there are gains to be made for him to end the year in a positive fashion.
The high-speed Italian circuit will be tough to tame for everybody, as the close-quarter action typical of the venue will likely be made even tougher by the weather conditions, with some hard rain expected.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"The 2019 championship provided us with great satisfaction and we are delighted to line-up for the Monza finale with all titles wrapped up in advance. The season is not over though. We want to prove that we are still at the top of our game regardless of the conditions and with all our drivers. For us, this would be the greatest satisfaction."
