PREMA Racing and the world of FIA Formula 2 are set to jump back into action this weekend for the traditional Italian round at Monza. Following the tragedy that claimed the life of Anthoine Hubert and injured Juan Manuel Correa at Spa-Francorchamps, the team is determined to continue giving its 100 per cent while still standing with Anthoine's family and supporting Juan Manuel in his recovery.
The fast Italian venue, featuring long straights interspersed by very tricky corners and complexes, will be challenging, as usual, but PREMA Racing is hoping to exploit the home advantage to carry on the good momentum showed at Hungaroring. Back from his maiden win in the series, Mick Schumacher is striving for more success on a legendary track where he impressed in the past.
Sean Gelael will line-up to experience a clean weekend and put his potential to fruition on a good track for him. That would lay good foundations for a positive final stint of the year.
René Rosin - Team Principal
"It won't be easy at all to come back to action after what happened last weekend, but it's our life and passion. Once we are on track, and in preparation for that, we must push as hard as we possibly can to get the best results. After all, that's the very nature of racing. So we are looking forward to staying in the leading pack with Mick and Sean at Monza, and maybe to make an additional step with both of them at our home track."
