Located in the outskirts of Budapest, the Hungaroring circuit is set to welcome the 8th round of the 2019 FIA Formula 2 Championship. The twisty up-and-down venue is definitely going to be a key step to set the tone for the closing rounds of the year, so the goal for PREMA Racing is to build and keep as much momentum as possible.
Mick Schumacher is coming from some alternating fortunes of late, and while he stood out in terms of performance, the 20-year-old series rookie hopes to find even more consistency to end the year oh a high note. The team will also welcome the return of Indonesian Sean Gelael, who will provide again the team with valuable insight and feedback.
Last year, PREMA Racing was able to score great results at the Hungaroring, so the ambition is to benefit from that work and put everything together.
René Rosin - Team Principal
"We are looking forward to a smooth weekend to finally show our real form and set a baseline to work on for the remaining part of the season. Schumacher showed plenty of skills in the last couple of rounds, he now needs one full weekend with no surprises or hiccups. We are delighted to see Gelael back in our ranks and are sure he will be 100 per cent committed."
