PREMA Powerteam is set for one of the most special rounds of the ADAC Formel 4 season, as the German-based championship will line-up for its third round of the season at Hockenheim. Teams and drivers of the series will run on the same weekend of the German Formula 1 Grand Prix, carrying on the tie-up started last year. Being an active Formula 1 venue, the 4.5-kilometer circuit is a very useful training ground for young drivers.
The team will feature its full four-driver line-up led - in terms of the championship fight - by Estonian Paul Aron. The 15-year-old Mercedes-Benz Junior Driver is coming from his maiden series win in the previous round at Red Bull Ring, and recently repeated the same result in the Italian Championship.
Brazilian Ferrari Driver Academy racer Gianluca Petecof is looking forward to capitalising on his 2018 full-season effort, which featured three stops at the Baden-Württemberg track, so to improve his championship position. Having showed podium potential, Alessandro Famularo is aiming to finally break the ice this weekend, while Oliver Rasmussen, one of the team's most consistent scorers so far this season, will have the chance to make a further step up too.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"Despite the fact that we are in July, this championship is still in its earlier stages, this being only the third round out of seven. We are thus lining-up for the third round at Hockenheim with the goal of gaining ground in the championship, aware that there is still a lot to come. All our drivers showed plenty of potential. Now it’s time to put everything together consistently."
