Coming from a good display in the previous round at Red Bull Ring, PREMA Racing is ready and set for the next step of its FIA Formula 2 campaign this coming weekend at Silverstone. One of the most classic venues of the calendar, Silverstone will welcome the drivers of the series featuring its wide set of variables. From the weather, always a threat in the British countryside, to the tricky and technical 5.9-kilometre layout.
Knowing that a lot of things will need to match in order to strive for success there, Mick Schumacher and Sean Gelael are looking forward to putting everything together throughout the weekend. The 20-year-old German is coming from a spectacular race 2 fightback in the Austrian round. He is now looking to repeat and capitalize on the successful experience.
On the other hand, the Indonesian is coming from an extremely challenging weekend in terms of tire management and is determined to leave it behind knowing, by his previous results, how competitive he can be.
René Rosin - Team Principal
"Schumacher's comeback in race 2 at Red Bull Ring was like a breath of fresh air for the team. The hard work we have done showed, as well as the driving skills which we obviously never put in doubt. Mick can do great things and we rely on him for a smooth-sailing and successful weekend in the UK. Gelael has been very competitive too but suffered from some bad luck and episodes happened at the worst possible time which jeopardised his results. He is ready to put it together too and we are definitely looking forward to this weekend."
