The postcard atmosphere of the Red Bull Ring will welcome teams and drivers of the German ADAC Formula 4 championship for their second round of 2019 this weekend. PREMA Powerteam will run at the Austrian venue with a four-strong line-up in good and warm weather after the rough conditions of late. The team also hopes for a smoother ride than in the opening round of the season.
Coming from a stellar series of results in the Italian championship, Brazilian Gianluca Petecof will try to repeat the win he secured in the Oschersleben opener while hoping to find better luck in Austria. Young Estonian rookie Paul Aron, who was the team's best scorer back in round 1, is also coming from an impressive Italian run, having shown plenty of pace but still needs some consistency.
Speaking of luck, Dane Oliver Rasmussen and Venezuelan Alessandro Famularo lacked quite a bit of it in the German opener, and hope to reverse their fortunes on the up-and-down 4.3-kilometre track.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"The coming round in Red Bull Ring will be really important to see where everybody really is after two exceedingly positive rounds of the Italian series. In the opening round at Oschersleben, we showed winning potential and scored multiple top-5 finishes, but we just missed the mix of luck and consistency that is always necessary to bring home great results. So far we showed that all our drivers can be contenders and we thus look forward to the weekend."
