There hasn't been much time to rest for the PREMA Powerteam Formula 4 operation. Two weeks after the opening round of the Italian championship, the series is set to get back in action at Misano this coming weekend. The Adriatic venue, at the centre of a famous seaside resort, saw the team deliver a stunning triple win last season so the expectations are quite high for 2019 too.
Gianluca Petecof is entering the event as the championship leader, having brought home two wins and a fifth place with a bold performance in Vallelunga. The 16-year-old Brazilian is back refreshed after a trip to his native Sao Paulo and wants to keep his momentum high.
Coming from his first podium finish in the series, Venezuelan Alessandro Famularo is determined to stay in the hunt for some silverware in the rest of the year too. The same goes for Oliver Rasmussen and Paul Aron. The 18-year-old Dane proved extremely consistent at Vallelunga, while the Estonian, only 15, wants to rebound after seeing his valiant efforts and top-3 potential jeopardized by bad luck and contacts.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"Coming from an event where we showed plenty of speed and achieved great results despite challenging conditions, we line-up at Misano aware of our potential. We know that we have the stability and consistency to react to external factors, such as the weather, which are expected to play a major part in the coming weekend too. Gianluca was a match-winner in Vallelunga, and Alessandro got his first podium, but we are sure that both Paul and Oliver will bounce back in full contention.”
