In another spectacular performance, PREMA Theodore Racing delivered a 1-2-3 finish at Spa-Francorchamps as the FIA Formula 3 European Championship went on-track for the final race of the weekend in Belgium. It was a sweet day for Mick Schumacher, who put up a great run including a stunning move between Eau Rouge and Les Combes to take the lead from P3. He then never looked back, taking his first win in the series.

The 19-year-old German, who had secured his maiden pole just two days earlier, also recovered really valuable ground in points. Rebounding from a tough previous day, 17-year-old rookie Marcus Armstrong secured a third place that enabled him to reclaim the overall championship lead. P2 was brought home by Russian Robert Shwartzman, also grabbed two rookie wins in the process.

Ralf Aron struggled to find his way to the front after starting from P9, while Guanyu Zhou was once again involved in an unavoidable contact which cost him valuable points. His championship hopes are far from over though, with five rounds still to go including the next one at Silverstone.

# 1 - Guanyu Zhou

"There is really not much to say about this weekend. After being involved in another contact which was not my fault, I fought back to P13 which confirms we had the potential. I'm looking forward to the next round at Silverstone."

# 4 - Mick Schumacher

“Winning at Spa is a great feeling after I unfortunately wasn’t able to convert yesterday’s pole position into a race success. As it seems, Spa is a good venue for the Schumacher family. When I saw the rain this morning, I was already happy: I very much like rain and mixed conditions. In the overtaking maneuver against Marcus, I was able to attack him from the slipstream. I already made a similar move in race one and therefore I knew that it would work out.”

# 7 - Ralf Aron

"Not an easy race and definitely not an easy weekend. After the podium in race 1, things didn't go our way, but we are still on it and we will do our 100 percent in Silverstone."

# 8 - Marcus Armstrong

"Conditions weren't easy and at the beginning, I was struggling a bit while Robert was quite quick. Then as the track dried out I felt a lot more comfortable, especially in the final three laps or so. I think we will come back really strong in the next few races."

# Robert Shwartzman

"It was a nice fight with my teammates and Marcus in particular. I got a good run on Marcus exiting Eau Rouge and I was able to pass him but then I had no slipstream and Mick took advantage of that. In the end, we finished P2 which is quite OK."
