After enjoying a well-deserved break at the end of a busy stint between the Italian and German championships, the PREMA Theodore Racing Formula 4 operation is back in action this weekend for the fifth round of the 2018 German series and a welcomed comeback to Hockenheim. The Baden-Wurttemberg track is hosting three events this season, but this time it will be a special one with teams and drivers lining-up to support the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Germany.
Drivers will have the chance to race in a world-class frame, and in front of an outstanding crowd of fans and motorsport insiders. For the occasion, ADAC, the series' sanctioning body, adopted a different weekend schedule including only two races, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
Brazilian Enzo Fittipaldi will be starting the weekend with the third place in standings after experiencing a positive weekend last time around in Red Bull Ring, while Olli Caldwell is looking forward to exploiting his full potential and making gains from the seventh position.
On the other hand, young rookie Gianluca Petecof is aiming to collect more points to highlight his first season in single seaters. The same goes for Jack Doohan, making his second start of the year in the series. The Australian impressed in his first outings between Italy, Germany, and the UK and is determined to continue a positive path.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"It is great to get back on-track after a small break and doing so on the world's most important stage, before the eyes of Formula 1 fans, drivers, and team personnel. This is a special occasion for the drivers and we definitely want to make an impression too. Enzo and Olli are in shape and ready to go to the attack to improve their championship positions. Gianluca and Jack are equally focused on forging ahead at the quickest possible pace."
