One of the most traditional venues for Formula 3 racing is set to welcome PREMA Theodore Racing this weekend, as the FIA-sanctioned European championship is lining-up for its fourth round of the year. After a late start to the season in May, the series is still in its first half but has nonetheless featured different names at the top of the standings. Headlining the pack after a spectacular performance at Norisring, Kiwi rookie Marcus Armstrong will enter the Dutch weekend of the series as the overall leader. So far, the Ferrari Driver Academy graduate secured five podium finishes, including one win in Nuremberg. Not too far away from him, Chinese racer Guanyu Zhou is aiming for a rebound after his tough German fortunes. The third FDA-supported man alongside Armstrong and Zhou, Robert Shwartzman, secured his first pole of the year in the previous round, showcasing great potential that makes him a realistic contender.

Estonian Ralf Aron is also looking forward to getting a deserved rebound at the fast, flowing track of the Netherlands. After winning the Pau Grand Prix, Aron is bracing for a key weekend in terms of his championship assault. Last but not least, Mick Schumacher will be there to finally wrap-up the excellent potential showed so far this season. The German ended up on the overall podium in Budapest and is hungry for more success.

René Rosin - Team Principal
“Zandvoort is a very important round of the season. The track is one of the classics of the 2018 calendar and is particularly fast and technical. At this point in the season, things might start to get shaped up a little more clearly and we definitely hope to be a leading force. We won both in 2017 and 2016 at Zandvoort so we think we can continue a good tradition. Marcus has done a good job so far and is leading the championship, but all his team-mates are really far from being ready to back down. This is going to be an exciting weekend.”
