The PREMA Theodore Racing Formula 4 operation will be on-track at Monza this weekend, at the same venue that handed them the 2017 driver title. The Italian "Cathedral of Speed" provides drivers with unique racing situations, featuring long straights and close-quarter battles that usually go down to the challenging braking zones and extremely tricky slow chicanes.

Monza is pivotal in a young driver’s learning experience, and the team is ready to take the best out of the occasion despite having to race without one of its full-time drivers, Gianluca Petecof. Following a testing crash, the Brazilan Ferrari Driver Academy youngster will sit out the weekend for precautionary reasons. Fellow Brazilian Enzo Fittipaldi will return to the famous Italian circuit with the podium - and its highest step - in clear sight. The young man, also part of the FDA, is holding a 12-point lead atop the championship table coming from a weather-affected previous round at Le Castellet. Quick Brit Olli Caldwell, who cruised to a great win back in France, will rely on his late 2017 run at Monza to be once again a real contender straight out of the box.

The PREMA Theodore Racing field will also feature two top rookies, Jack Doohan and Amna Al Qubaisi. The Australian impressed in Circuit Paul Ricard and has been contending for wins in the British series, while the young Emirati female racer is back after an outstanding debut in single seaters at Adria.

Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"Monza is a crucial event both in terms of driver learning and potential influence on the championship’s outcome. Drivers can learn a lot: on such a fast and particular circuit, it is not easy to make the difference, but when it happens, you are always rewarded well. Enzo and Olli already showed that they are contenders for wins, while I can not wait to welcome Amna and Jack back on track. They were very promising in their first appearances. On the other hand, we are sad to see Gianluca having to sit out for precaution, but protecting his health is the most important thing."
