It's been a tough day for PERTAMINA PREMA Theodore Racing at Red Bull Ring. Lining-up at the Austrian venue, drivers Nyck De Vries and Sean Gelael struggled to put together lap times competitive enough to fight for the pole in qualifying, despite the good feedback from the car and the momentum coming from De Vries' first win of the season last weekend in France.
The team is looking forward to a prompt rebound on race day after checking the data from the session. There is still great room for improvement for tomorrow's Feature Race. In today's official session at the short Styrian venue, De Vries scored ninth place, while Gelael had to settle for 15th place.

"We thought we would have been more in front than we have actually been with both cars. It's really tight but we expected better. It's something we need to check because the balance of the car seemed really good and we were putting together some nice laps with Nyck but still quite far from the pace. We're 7 tenths away from pole, but hopefully, we will find something for the race."
# 4 - Nyck De Vries
"There's no clear explanation for our poor performance today. To be honest my lap felt quite OK, but apparently, we just didn't have the speed. We will have to see and analyze why we were not quick enough today."
